After years of erosion, the new Sunset Beach ‘nature-based dune toe protection using materials mostly present on the beach’ project shows what community-led action can achieve.

At eCoast, we’ve been supporting work in this area for 20+ years: from coastal processes to practical, low-cost solutions like beach push-ups and adaptive management.

Coastlines are always changing, working with nature is key.
