Can You Help Bring Our Local Playgroup Back? 💛

We're looking for someone (or a couple of people!) from our local community to help get our playgroup up and running again.

This is a volunteer role and would be perfect for someone with young children, or anyone who has the time and passion to support local families by creating a safe, fun place to connect.

The playgroup is currently closed, but we'd love to reopen it and welcome new and existing families back.

The role involves:• Opening and locking up the hall• Setting up and packing away the toys• A small amount of admin

Playgroup runs on Friday mornings during school term, for around 2½ hours. If two or more people would like to share the role, that would be even better!

Our playgroup is such a special free resource for our community. It's a place where tamariki can play, while parents and caregivers enjoy a hot drink, a chat, and build lasting friendships. It would be wonderful to see this valuable community space continue for future families.

Hi playgroup families playgroup is still closed but would love to start to some new family's.

it’s time for me to step away from. Playgroup this year after helping run playgroup for over 7 years. I have loved opening this space for families to come and enjoy but now its time for someone new to get involved. This means Playgroup will be closing unless someone (or a small team) would like to take it over.
The role involves opening the hall, setting up the toys, then tidying and locking up afterwards. There is also a small amount of admin involved. Playgroup runs on Friday mornings during school term time for 2½ hours.
If a couple of people wanted to join forces and share the role, that would be even better!
Playgroup is such a special (and free!) resource for our community — a place for tamariki to play and for parents and caregivers to enjoy a hot drink and a chat. Many friendships have started here, for both children and adults, and it would be wonderful to see it continue.

Tomorrow will be the last playgroup for the year.
Please come along for the end of year 🎅🤶 Christmas 🎄 celebration please bring a plate to share for morning tea.

BRING TOYS OR CHANGE OF CLOTHES we are going to have some fun water play to finish off the year.

Free Sand Available!
We are replacing the sand in our sandpit and would like to offer the old sand to families from playgroup and playcentre. If you would like to take some, please feel free to come by during the following hours:

Wednesdays & Fridays 3rd December till 10th December.
9:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Please note:

We are unable to accommodate trailers, so you'll need to bring a wheelbarrow, bags, or buckets to transport the sand.

For safety, please keep the gates closed when children are around.
