Institute of Awesome The Institute of Awesome is an enviro-tech education centre set on 100 acres of beautiful native bush, in Whale Bay, Whaaingaroa (Raglan).

We host schools, community groups, and companies who want to get curious & creative in a magical environment.

We were honoured to have Whaea Angeline Greensill and Matua Sean Ellison welcome 50 rangatahi onto Maunga Karioi this morning, for a 3-day camp with Creative Waikato. Both shared mātauranga and pūrākau about the maunga, ngahere, and moana.
