Today at Wakatipu Playcentre, our tamariki got creative decorating beautiful mugs for Mother’s Day using paint pens, before carefully setting their designs in the oven to make them extra special 💐☕️

We are so grateful for all the wonderful mothers in our village who support the growth of our centre, nurture our children, and help create such a caring and connected community. Your love, time, and support mean so much!

Wishing all the amazing mums, grandmothers, and mother figures a very Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Wakatipu Playcentre 💕

Little hands, big learning today at Wakatipu Playcentre 💛

Our tamariki followed a recipe step by step to create their very own gingerbread men—measuring, mixing, rolling, and baking along the way.
So much more than baking, this was teamwork, creativity, and confidence in action!

We love seeing our children learn through doing (and enjoying a tasty treat at the end 🍪)
