🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Cross Country – What a Day! 🌿
Yesterday was such a wonderful day at our school cross country! Our tamariki showed incredible resilience, determination and encouragement from start to finish. 💪❤️

We were so proud to see our older tamariki running alongside and supporting the little ones, helping them keep going when things got tough. It was also lovely to see mums running alongside their children and sharing the experience together. 🥰

One of the most special things to see was the way our tamariki cheered each other on. Friends encouraging friends, celebrating every effort, and reminding each other to keep going — that is what our school whānau is all about! 👏🙌

A huge ka pai to all our tamariki for giving it their best, showing resilience and supporting one another. We are incredibly proud of you all! 🌟💚

It was a wonderful day made even more special by the support of our whānau and staff. 🙂

On Tuesday 1st September Manu Class visited the Frankton Fire Station to meet with volunteers and to learn all about how they show compassion to our local community.

We learnt about how firefighters help and support others with their kindness, courage, teamwork and service - and how it makes a real difference in people’s lives.

Today Maunga Class went to visit the Cat Rescue as part of our Compassion Unit. We learnt a lot about the cat rescue, how to look after cats, trap cats carefully and how to entertain them as well.

Andrea who runs the rescue was amazing with facts and information. Our next step is to create home made toys to take back to them later on in the term!
