So, while we all know what happens when Sequoya isn’t here and I’m left in charge of the office, the public needs to realise it’s not all cheese and kisses when she is here either.

I mean, look at this footage. Which, for the record, had to be clipped due to some fairly serious language concerns. 😂

So many questions arise…

Is the stress of the job finally getting to her?
Are the school lunches simply too much?
Did gravity launch an unprovoked attack?
Does she require a medical intervention?
Was anyone going to help her? (Or was I too busy checking the security cameras? 😆)
And now she's telling me she has a wee strain (I probably should be filling out ACC forms instead of posting this 😂).

Obviously, I’m deeply concerned.

Oh .....thanks for sorting the lunches today Sequoya 😂😆😂!

Sausage sizzle fundraiser coming up this Friday outside Hiwa! Sausages are $2 each. This is an extra bonus treat, not a full lunch replacement, so they still need their usual lunch. This is a school fundraiser for the Poutama (Room 12) and Patikitiki (Room 11) camp next term.

🏉 YEAR 5/6 REGIONAL RUGBY 7s 🏉

It was a blustery old day in Richmond today for the Year 5/6 Regional Rugby 7s! 💨🥶

Unfortunately, we didn’t quite get there, but our crew were competitive all day, played some great rugby and represented Parklands brilliantly. 💚🖤

There were definitely some tired bodies by the end of it… 😂😴 Safe to say they left it all out on the field!

A massive thank you to Whaea Jess and Cillian for giving up lunchtimes to coach the team and for all their help today. Legends! 🙌

And a big thanks to Joseph Lepaio-Wineera and the Tasman Mako crew for organising another awesome day of rugby.

Well done, boys. We’re proud of you! 🏉💚🖤

🍌🌼 MATUA TIM STRIKES AGAIN! 🌼🍌

It’s Daffodil Day at Parklands, so naturally when we said wear yellow… Matua Tim understood the assignment. 😂

A daffodil? Too predictable.
A yellow shirt? Far too sensible.
A giant banana? Obviously. 🍌🤣

The good news is, beneath all this potassium-powered nonsense, our Parklands whānau have so far raised an awesome $230 for the Cancer Society! 💛

Fantastic effort, whānau. Thank you to everyone who dressed up, donated and helped us support such an important cause.

And thank you Matua Tim for once again proving there is apparently no dress-up theme you cannot completely own. 😂💛
