Join us on March 21st for a chance to try your hand at some competition flying. This is especially aimed at those planning to travel to Hastings for this year's NZAWA Rally, but all are welcome to give it a go!

We will also put on a fundraiser BBQ lunch, so bring some cash and get ready for a fun day out!

If you'd like to go take part in any of the competitions, please let us know which one/s and in which aircraft by the 17th. All flights will have a judge (instructor) on board.

The fleet is reunited in Matamata! Our PA38 ZK-PAF is currently at Walsh Memorial Scout Flying School, returning to Motueka after January 22nd. The C172 ZK-EFF is on a North Island trip with one of our club members, who dropped in to say hi.

Last Club Day of the Year - Reminder - this Sunday 30th November

Motueka Aero Club has joined with a group of clubs from the Upper South Island & Lower North Island to visit each other’s clubs. A great opportunity to fly into various fields.
As we’ve just joined we’ll host the group this Sunday to coincide with our Club Day.
A landing competition has been planned so pop out to the field early and join in.
Lunch $10

Congratulations to Antonius and Christy on achieving their first solos! The duo traveled from Hong Kong with the goal of going solo and accomplished it in under two weeks after completing an intensive training course.

Thanks to club instructors Jonathan Westenra, Reuben Swafford, and Sophie Collingridge for their instruction. On their return journey, Reuben flew Antonius and Christy to Auckland - what are the odds!
