Our first Kauri Saplings are up!!!! NZ's most impressive tree, they can reach 50m height and 15m girth and dominate the canopy of their own forest type. In fact, there were 1.2 million hectares of Kauri Forest from Hamilton up to The Cape 1,000 years ago.

Kauri is highly protected due to the Kauri Dieback decimating forests in the North. It is one of the best NZ timbers for building houses and boats which lead to wide deforestation as New Zealand has developed.

If you know someone who is interested in supporting this great tree, then comment them in. We are expected them to be ready in 2024!
