Introducing Our New Artists | Joshua Linkhorn

Please join us in welcoming Joshua Linkhorn to Richmond Ballet as a Company Apprentice for the 2026/27 season!

Originally from Wellington, New Zealand, Josh grew up dancing at his parents' dance studio, Extreme Dance, where his love for ballet first began. He then trained at Chilton Ballet Academy, and the New Zealand School of Dance before dancing with Washington Ballet Studio Company.

"I'm most excited about the incredible repertoire lined up for this season and getting to work with such incredible fellow artists."

Outside of the studio, Josh loves traveling and enjoying a good coffee with friends.

At the end of 2025, we celebrated our 20th anniversary 🩵
20 years of memories.
20 years of friendships.
20 years of lives shaped through dance.

Our show concluded with an amazing surprise organised by Maia Browne & Esther Forsyth Robinson - hearing these messages reminds us that what happens here has always been about so much more than steps, costumes, or performances.

From first classes as little dancers, to lifelong friendships, confidence, resilience, and unforgettable moments — Extreme has become part of so many stories over the last two decades.
To every student, teacher and parent - past and present, thank you for being part of this journey. Your memories are the heart of Extreme Dance, and we are so proud of the community that has grown over the past 20 years.
