We hope all our mums and mother figures had a wonderful Mother’s Day yesterday and those that came to our afternoon tea at both centres on Friday enjoyed themselves. Here are a few photos from Lynfield’s celebrations 💗

What a busy month April has been at our Lynfield centre. We started off with Easter, which we posted about earlier on, then we had Crazy Hat Day, Grandparents Afternoon Tea, and we finished off today with a visit from a couple of NZ Police officers, one of which is the dad of one of the children at our centre. A huge thank you to Tony and his partner for coming along today, you made the children’s day! Here are some photos taken at the various events 😀

At Lynfield in the last few weeks we have had lots of children turning 5 and leaving to go to school. We want to thank all our lovely parents that spoil the staff with lovely individual gifts and treats. Here are a few photos of some of the lovely things we have received recently, including cultural food to celebrate a families new year celebration. Happy Easter to all our whanau and families. We hope you have had a wonderful long weekend and are all rested, ready for a short week starting tomorrow. Happy St Patrick’s Day to you all for yesterday. At Lynfield we celebrated by wearing green, playing with green resources, doing green artwork, and even having green cake for afternoon tea! We hope you all had a wonderful day celebrating in your own way 🇮🇪🍀

Happy Chinese New Year to all our friends and whanau. We had a great day at both centres yesterday, celebrating the occasion. Most of the children wore red clothes and we had dumplings for lunch. The children have been doing lots of art and crafts in preparation and the centres looked fantastic because of it. A huge thank you to Josie and Kori the Penguin from Cameron Pools Swim Magic School for coming to see our Lynfield children today and talk to them about water safety. The children learnt about how to stay safe in and around water. They will be visiting Kingsland on Thursday next week!

Happy Diwali to all our families at Childsplay Unlimited. We had a wonderful celebration at Lynfield on Friday and are expecting nothing less at Kingsland tomorrow. Here are some photos from the festivities on Friday and preparations during the week 😊

What a busy morning we had at Lynfield this morning. We started off with participating in the NZ ShakeOut at 9.30am, then we had our 3 monthly fire drill. Both events went very smoothly and the children did so well both times. Don’t forget we are having our Diwali celebrations at Lynfield tomorrow, and Monday at Kingsland 🕯️

Our newest team members have arrived at our Kingsland centre, aren’t they cute? Please let us know your ideas for names as soon as possible. They are boys by the way 😊 Don’t forget we will be looking for parents to take them home for the weekend starting this Friday.
