If you've been following me for a while, you'll know I'm much happier behind my sewing machine than in front of a camera.

Honestly, I'd rather spend an afternoon matching fabrics than trying to figure out what to do with my hands in a photo. 😅

But I realised it's probably about time I introduced myself!

Hi! I'm Karen, and I'm the one who designs, cuts, sews, photographs, packs and posts every order from Kaybee Creations.

Thank you for supporting my little handmade business, it still amazes me every time one of my creations finds a new home. ❤️

Introducing The First Edition Kindle Sleeve - my most premium Kindle sleeve yet.

Designed for readers who treasure their Kindle as much as the stories it holds, each sleeve is handmade in New Zealand using carefully chosen bookish and fantasy-inspired fabrics, with foam-padded protection and a premium YKK zipper.

I've been working away behind the scenes on some new bookish goodies, and I'm so excited to finally share a glimpse of them with you all! 🐉📚

These gorgeous dragon prints are just the beginning, with more designs and bookish accessories in the works for my fellow fantasy and romantasy readers.

They'll be making their way to the shop just as soon as life gives me a chance to catch up on photographing and listing everything 😅

I had the chance to pattern test the Mirabel Tote by and I think this one might be a new favourite 🤎🖤

I used a floral paired with black vinyl and rose gold hardware - I love how it turned out, I think I need to keep this one!

It’s one of those bags that’s just as practical as it is pretty:
• secure zip closure
• handy exterior pocket
• beautifully organised interior
• and the option to wear it crossbody

Already thinking about the next one I want to make…

I'm so excited to share my finished Zuri Crossbody Bag, the latest pattern by Bagstock Designs.

The finished bag is both practical and beautiful, featuring a handy front pocket with a flap, a secure zippered main compartment, and an interior zip pocket to keep everything organised.

Some books deserve a little extra love ✨

I was lucky enough to get Iron Flame and Onyx Storm for Christmas, so I just had to make myself new book jackets.

This black and gold wave design felt like the perfect match - bold, dramatic, and a little bit magical. I’m absolutely loving the Empyrean Series so far… no spoilers, but it has me completely hooked 📚🖤

Handmade, softly padded, and finished with a built-in bookmark - because beautiful books deserve beautiful protection.

I might have made extra for someone lucky to snaffle from my Felt store 😉
