Pretty amazing representation from our school yesterday at the Waikato Regional Competition by this fabulous group of gymnasts!
With 55 different schools competing, every one of our gymnasts achieved an apparatus placing, with many also earning overall placings. What an incredible achievement! Keep an eye out for next week’s newsletter for all the individual results.

We had a fantastic day last Friday for our senior cross country. Here's a little snapshot of the day.

We are excited for our senior cross country this Friday! Here are all the details...

Date:
Friday 14th August.

Postponement Date:
Monday 17th August.

Time:
1:00pm to 2:45pm.
Early lunch at 12:00pm.

Venue:
Alexandra East Redoubt, Aubin Close, Pirongia.
Esplanade Walkway.

Other Info:
If students would like to be considered for Lower Waipa Cross Country (the inter-school event),
they need to race in the age group that they will be on Friday 4th September.
Lower Waipa is for 7 to 13 year olds.
Student school bags will be left at school and can be collected after the event.
During the event, students must stay with the teachers and their age groups (they can see families at the end).
We please ask spectators to keep clear of flagged off areas.

Notice About Parking:
Please do not park down Aubin Close or along the grassy area at the end of Crozier St/Parry St.
Please note, the students will be running on the footpath along Crozier St opposite the Four Square, so please keep the area clear.

Needed:
We need a couple of parent helpers to be course marshals to show students where to run.

Students Wear:
House colours
Shoes optional (there is a gravel track)
Warm jersey or jacket

Postponement Date:
Monday 10th August.
A decision will be made Friday 7:30am.

Time:
1:00pm to 2:45pm.
Early lunch at 12:10pm.

Venue:
Pirongia Rugby Club fields.

Other Info:
If students would like to be considered for Lower Waipa Cross Country (the inter-school event),
