Our visit from our Piopio college students was a wonderful success. We practiced our pukana, learned a waitata (Haere mai Ki Maniapoto) with the actions, and a haka (Toto wera), our tamariki sang Tutira mai for our visitors. We shared some yummy Kai before they headed back to kura. Big thanks to Whaea Āmana, Whaea Jo and students who came, we truly appreciate it. We have promised to keep practicing our waiata and send a video at the end of the year or early next year.

Ok I have some details about Rebecca Keil coming to Piopio. The date has been changed to the 5th of November. It’ll be at the Night owl with drinks available at the bar and we will pre-sell platters (details on this to come). This is a save the date post! On the 22nd of October we are thrilled to announce that we have Rebecca Kiel coming to Piopio on her mums greatest hits tour! She is working with small towns and a portion of the ticket sale will go to a fundraiser so I have tagged it for Piopio College Japan trip. Venue to be confirmed-there will be a link to purchase tickets, and we will also be selling wine and platters. Kia ora! Just a reminder next Monday (29th of Jan) is Auckland Anniversary day, the following Tuesday is Waitangi Day (6th of February) so keas will be closed both of these days. I feel like Waitangi Day is a weekend where families might extend a long weekend and not come on the Monday so please be sure to let me know if your child is not attending on this day so my staffing reflects the children attending

Another fabulous Pet day for Keas yesterday! Many thanks to all of our helpers on the day.
