People of all ages, cultures, abilities, and backgrounds are welcome at Outward Bound. Located in Anakiwa in the Marlborough Sounds, we help you reach your full potential through challenge in the outdoors. Our classrooms are the mountains, bush and waterways of this beautiful corner of New Zealand.

It's one of those things most of us mean to get around to but is easy to put off. In fact, only around half of New Zealanders actually have one.

A Will isn't really about you. It's about making sure the people you love aren't left guessing during a time that will undoubtedly be overwhelming and hard.

How well do you know the Anakiwa kitchen?

Nearly 2,000 students come through the Outward Bound dining hall every year. Behind every meal is a kitchen team who starts early, finishes late, and somehow keeps the energy going through it all.

Students tell us one of the unexpected highlights is not having to think about food for a few weeks. Just showing up hungry and being taken care of.
