The mission of Shortland Street Toastmasters is to provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members a

re empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth. We provide the tools that enable you to become an effective communicator and leader both in your personal and professional lives. To that end, your membership will develop your self-confidence and skills in formal speaking, impromptu "off-the-cuff" speaking, presentation, teamwork, management, client and customer service and constructive feedback. Life is a journey and so is being a Toastmaster. As you are always learning in life, so it is with communication and leadership. We meet on alternate Tuesdays at 7am at Betty Wark Room of Pioneer Women's and Ellen Melville Hall, 1 Freyberg Place, Auckland Central 1000, Auckland.
