Term 3 is coming to an end. The Aims games was a great success and bought many smiles. It was lovely to hear the pleasures of being part of a team and playing. It was not all about winning. The teacher student relationship is similar to being a team as we have to work together and smile together. I learn a great deal from my students as each one is unique and makes sense of things in their way. There really is not one teaching method that suits all. I love the challenge of learning. I don’t always get it right first time but that’s just part of the challenge. Enjoy the term break and the Spring season. 🌼 Randi

Last year I made no comment on the new Numeracy Essentials paper.
All but one of students did pass this paper that they sat last term. It is not a popular paper and does not have a high pass rate. I do hope the support at schools on this paper does get better. If you know what to expect it’s not so bad so my advice is to get all the past papers and go through each question. I use the past papers to tutor from as this forms a strong grounding and knowing what is expected of you helps immensely. Let’s hope time improves the schools teaching for this paper. Thank you again for all your support. I love getting to know my students they each have their strengths and they sure keep me smiling and on my toes. Enjoy the term ahead. 😊
