Coast Kids is a family owned and operated business, with a purpose built facilty built just for kids to have some fun!!! We provide Before school Care, After school Care and Holiday Programmes to children in Tauranga. We are MSD approved meaning WINZ subsidies do apply with all our programs. We are situated in Market Place just off Enterprise Drive opposite the Papamoa Primary School on Parton Roa

We run daily activites that inspired kids to grow, play, explore all while having fun! About our Programmes

Before school:
Drop your child off to Coast Kids - children will be given a healthy breakfast of cereal, fruit, toast, juice, hot chocolate or milk. and we will drop them to their school (or bus stop) 10 minutes prior to start or departure time. After School:
We pick up children from all Papamoa schools, children are taken back to the Coast kids club rooms where they receive afternoon tea of fruit, biscuits, sandwiches, juice and always a warm light meal. Afterwards children can choose from a range of amazing games, activities, team building, arts n crafts, baking, foam pit, skating at skate ramps, sports, tech, steam challenges, the options are never ending really! We also offer a 15 minute homework time for children who require this. You have until 6pm to pick up your

Spring is here, and we’ve got two action-packed weeks of holiday fun planned at Coast Kids Papamoa!

From awesome trips and adventures to baking, creative challenges, circus fun, pampering, games and even an early Halloween celebration. There’s something for everyone!

Slam Jump Day!

What an awesome day we had!

We started the morning nice and cruisy with some arts and crafts, a big game of soccer, and making cheeseburgers for lunch. 🍔

After lunch, we loaded up the vehicles and headed to Baypark to check out the new slam Jump trampoline park. The kids were so excited! We were lucky enough to have the whole place booked out just for us, which meant there was plenty of space to jump, play, and have fun.

All the kids had the best time bouncing around, showing off their tricks on the trampolines. By the end of the session, we were all hot, sweaty, and definitely ready for a drink!

Wall had an absolute blast. We can’t wait to go back!

M&M Day! 🍫🌈

What a fun way to start off the second week, with lots of M&Ms!

We kicked off the morning with some baking and made a M&M slice. While some of the kids were busy in the kitchen, others enjoyed playing games and painting. We started our craft in the morning so they had time to dry before we finished them in the afternoon.

After making a fun mess in both the kitchen and the art room, it was time for lunch!

In the afternoon, we headed back into the kitchen to bake some M&M cookies and finish off our M&M art. Once everything was complete, we all got to sit down and enjoy the tasty treats we had made throughout the day.

Just a reminder we are off to the movies tomorrow. We will be leaving the centre at 9am.

Battle of the Centres! 🏆🎉

This morning, we headed to Mercury to meet up with our Greerton centre for our battle of the centres. The morning was packed with fun activities, including hockey, tenpin bowling, basketball, and T-ball. Everyone gave it their best effort, showed great teamwork, and had lots of fun cheering each other on.

After a well earned lunch, the competition continued with dodgeball, relay races, and tug of war. There was plenty of laughter, friendly competition, and fantastic sportsmanship throughout the day.

Once the games had finished, the children enjoyed some free play before we packed up. We left at 2pm and arrived back at the centre around 2:30pm. To cool down, everyone enjoyed an ice block before choosing how to spend the afternoon. Some relaxed with a movie, while those who still had plenty of energy headed outside for more games.

The kids had an amazing day and headed home with big smiles, lots of great memories, and very tired legs! 😊🏅💙

Build A Bear Day! 🧸

What a special day we had today!

This morning, Build A Bear came to our centre and each child got to create their very own teddy bear. They chose the bear they wanted, took part in a special heart ceremony, and even received a birth certificate for their new fluffy friend.

Once everyone’s bears were finished, we celebrated with a teddy bear dance off and a fun game of musical chairs. 🕺🎶

After enjoying a teddy bear picnic, style lunch with our new cuddly friends, the children spent the afternoon snuggled up with their bears while watching a movie, or burning off some energy in the foam pit. To top off the day, we made some delicious waffles! 🧇

It was such a fun and memorable day, with lots of smiles, cuddles, and happy memories. 💛🧸

Texas Showdown… Yeeehaw, cowboy! 🤠

Today we bootscootin’ boogied our way through the day with plenty of yeehaws and country music! 🎶🤠

We kicked off the morning with fun games, cowboy boot colouring, and a lively game of musical chairs, all while listening to our favourite country tunes.

In the afternoon, we headed into the kitchen and made delicious dessert cones and puff dogs. They were a big hit with the kids! 🌭🍦

We finished the day the best way we knew how, with more country music, dancing around the centre, and lots of smiles and laughter. What a fun filled day! ⭐🎉

Skating, pizza & cookies!
Could ask for a better day! This morning started off with skate school coming into our centre. The kids got to zoom around for the morning.
After skating the kids had worked up an appetite so it was time for some pizzzza. 🍕
We finished off our afternoon with some activities and in the kitchen baking cookies 😋
