Footage capturing Melbourne Grand Prix and 1957 Ardmore Grand Prix. Sadly this includes footage of the crash in which Ken Wharton is killed.
Believe that the Ferrari Ken was driving has been restored and is now owned by Southward Car Museum in Paraparaumu.

Between 1954 and 1962, Ardmore Airfield hosted, on an annual basis, the NZ International Grand Prix. This event was moved to the purpose built raceway at Pukekohe in 1963. Notable drivers racing on this course are Stirling Moss, Jack Brabham and Bruce McLaren
