Friends of the school are looking for a new Chair Person, is this something you could be interested in? Come along to the AGM on Tuesday 24th Feb at 5pm to find out more

The Friends of the School Committee (FOS) plays a vital role. Not only does the FOS work to raise funding, but more importantly, it helps to foster a sense of community. Kate Wheeler joined the FOS a few years ago and soon became its Chairperson. She has now stepped down as the Chairperson and the Poari (School Board), Tumuaki (Principal), Kaimahi (Staff), and ākonga (learners) thank Kate for her service to the school.

Thank you to everyone who came to the fun run last week - what a great way to finish the 2025 fundraising year.

Start Time: 3.30pm
Finish Time: 5pm
Location: The School Field
We are holding an obstacle course event as we did last year – please find the map of the field attached

What to wear: no school uniform clothes that you don’t mind getting stained with paint and wet, but make it fun, dress up in your most fun outfit (if wearing white please put something underneath)

Food and Drink: We will have a sausage sizzle and treat stand to feed those hungry tummies – cash and eftpos payments accepted

Whanau Involvement: Come along and get involved with your Tamariki – we need adults to help at obstacle station and spray the powdered paint – you will also want to wear clothes you don’t mind getting stained

Closing the Event: We will finish with a tug of war between teachers and Year 8

Parking: Please Park along Walters Road outside school and at the Bruce Pulman parking area

Getting Home: We suggest putting towels or blankets on your car seats to avoid any damage from the paint

Prizes and Certificates: if you have ordered prizes, these will be available to collect from the certificate stand

Sign up: If you have not signed up on line, don’t’ panic, just come along and enjoy the event

Set up: We will be setting up from 1pm, if you are available to help please sign in at reception and meet at the field.

Pack Down and Clear up: many hands make light work – please help us to pick up any rubbish and close down the course after the event
