Blossoms Educare Papakura in Full Bloom!

Our 12th anniversary was such a special milestone for our Blossoms Papakura family. The tamariki lit up the stage with their dances, and our teachers joined in with a fun performance of their own. Parents also shared such positive and heart-warming feedback, which means so much to us. Everyone enjoyed the delicious buffet and had a great time capturing memories at our photo corner.
Thank you to all who came along to celebrate with us.

Your support has been an important part of our journey, and we look forward to many more years of learning, growing and blooming together.

Water and bubble play are more than just fun, they’re full of learning opportunities.

At Blossoms Educare Papakura, we provide safe, well-supervised water and bubble play experiences where tamariki explore cause and effect, practise hand-eye coordination, and develop working theories about the world around them.

Following Te Whāriki (Exploration | Mana Aotūroa), play is valued as meaningful learning. Children gain confidence, try new ideas, and learn strategies for active exploration and thinking. We also weave in self-help skills like encouraging tamariki to put on their own aprons before play, building independence and responsibility.

Our teaching strategy is to set up engaging, open-ended water and bubble play invitations that spark curiosity and creativity, while making sure the play space is safe, inclusive, and welcoming for all.
Every splash and bubble is a step in learning.

What a fun-filled day we had! The children arrived in their cosy pyjamas, hugged their favourite soft toys, danced at our mini disco, got face paint, and smiled for the camera.

This special day supported Te Whāriki by helping tamariki feel a strong sense of belonging (mana whenua) and encouraging them to explore and express themselves (mana aotūroa) through play.

Thank you to all the parents and children who joined in and made the day so special! 💕🧸🎶
