Two big boxes arrived with several dozen copies of the book we lend people in the General Laboratory Safety (Micro-credential) Programme. More information about that programme is at https://www.rwe.ac.nz/programmes/micro-credentials/general-laboratory-safety . We currently have people taking it all over New Zealand. Full scholarships are available for this $600 programme.

We are only planning one INTERNATIONAL intake into our Postgraduate Diploma in Analytical Science (https://www.rwe.ac.nz/programmes/postgrad-diploma-in-analytical-science) in 2023. That is 23 March 2023. Given current processing times for New Zealand Student Visas, we strongly recommend applying to our programme no later than 15 January 2023 (and sooner if possible).

Congratulations to Shalyn Williams of the New Plymouth District Council who completed our Laboratory Skills Programme, earning the New Zealand Certificate in Applied Science (Level 4) . The certificate was presented to her by the Council laboratory's Catherine Yateman at their Christmas BBQ. Thanks for that Catherine and well done Shayln.
We are delighted that Shayln is continuing her studies with us while continuing her laboratory job.

We are very excited for the start of our new General Laboratory Safety (Micro-credential). The first intake is one week from today. There is capacity for a few most people.
Full scholarships are available. Information is at https://www.rwe.ac.nz/programmes/micro-credentials/general-laboratory-safety . Two of our educators has a recent conversation with the authors of the book we will be using. We will lend a copy of the book to participants in the programme. We will ever pay the current courier fees to send it to participants and for them to send it back.

We are please to announce the recently approved Calibration and Traceability (Micro-credential) programme (https://www.rwe.ac.nz/programmes/micro-credentials/calibration-and-traceability).
This programme is primarily for laboratory employees who want a better understanding of calibration and standards traceability.
You can sign-up to get additional information and to be notified when intakes are announced. Scholarships are available for that offering. For announcement of several other new programmes, please like this post and like our page.
