PNINS

Today, we had two teams competing at the SuperSport Basketball tournament, and both represented PNINS with pride.

Our girls’ team continued the fantastic improvement they’ve shown all season, competing hard in every game and finishing the day with an impressive 3rd place.

Our boys capped off an outstanding season in style. After winning the Division 1 Friday Night Competition, they carried that momentum into today’s tournament, finishing the day undefeated and bringing the SuperSport banner back to school!

A huge thank you to all of our coaches, managers and supporters from today and also the whole Basketball season!

Our annual E-Pro 8 competition is underway at PNINS where teams complete design challenges under robust rules and guidelines. Mr Grady is our E-Pro 8 master and we love that he returns year after year to provide this opportunity for our tamariki! The finals are held Monday. We wish all teams the best!

Summer Sport registrations are now live on our school website. The link will be below. Registrations close on the 9th of September

We have 10 different options for Term 4 sports, with activities running across every day of the school week. Please make sure you carefully check the days and times before registering, as some sports may clash with each other, as well as Production and other school commitments.

Sport — Palmerston North Intermediate Normal School Palmerston North Intermediate Normal School provides opportunities for all children to participate in a variety of sports and fitness programmes. We introduce students to a wide variety of sporting opportunities, and aim to have all students taking part in at least one sport throughout the year.

A reminder it's Teacher Only Day on Friday and school will be closed :-) enjoy your long weekend !
