This week for Staff Choice our tamariki have been busy painting and crafting up lots of creative ideas! 🌈🖌️

We also made delicious Anzac Biscuits on Tuesday and made a yummy Pancake Breakfast this morning 🥞

OUT OF ZONE ENROLMENTS - Term 4 2026 and Terms 1-4 2027

Applications for Term 4 this year and Terms 1-4 2027 will open tomorrow and close on Tuesday 8 September 2026.

If the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available students will be selected by ballot to be held on Wednesday 9 September 2026. Parents will be advised of the result of their application by the end of Friday 11 September 2026.

We are likely to have the following spaces available for Term 4 2026:

Year 1 - 8
Year 2 - 0
Year 3 - 0
Year 4 - 8
Year 5 - 5
Year 6 - 0

We are likely to have the following spaces available for 2027:
Year 0 - 0
Year 1 - 30

Year 6 - 5

The Milson School Board will continue to monitor the school roll and should additional places become available during 2027 they will be advertised midway through each preceding term.

Please collect an Enrolment Pack from the school office if you wish to apply.

Here is the newsletter for this week - Term 3, Week 2

You may have seen posts from various schools over the past day or so about how great their principals are. Yesterday was Te Rā o Tumeke Tumuaki - a day to celebrate awesome principals. Unfortunately Tracy was away at a meeting for the morning so we decided to reschedule our celebration to today. We also renamed it Princessipal Day because Tracy deserves her own day.

Those other principals might be ok, but our Princessipal is the best ever. She is the kindest and she really cares about kids. You will see her greeting children and families at the gate in the mornings and after school, rain or shine, with a hug and a smile.
