Creativity comes to life every day in all of our classrooms! 🎨✨ Through art, imagination, and hands-on exploration, children are encouraged to express themselves, build confidence, and discover the joy of creating in their own unique way. We love watching little minds shine through as they create their own masterpiece.

Little hands, big ideas 💡
Today our tamariki explored teamwork and problem-solving as they stacked pegs. Some children worked together to build towering creations! Through collaboration, patience, and plenty of trial and error, they discovered just how strong their ideas can be.
Ka pai to our clever builders! 👷👷‍♀️

There’s nothing quite like a day of baking to bring learning to life 🍪👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

Our tamariki had so much fun measuring, mixing, pouring, and of course taste-testing along the way! Baking is more than just a delicious activity — it’s a wonderful way to explore early maths concepts, develop fine motor skills, and build confidence as children follow steps and work together.

Ka pai to our little bakers — we hope you enjoyed your tasty creations as much as we loved making them! 💛

The tamariki absolutely loved having Kelly Sports Manawatu come in and facilitate a range of games and activities that encouraged movement, teamwork, and confidence. It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces as they practiced new skills. Experiences like these are a fantastic way to promote healthy habits while building social connections and coordination. We can’t wait to have you back again on Friday!

We had a super exciting visit from some friendly Police Officers 🚓👮‍♂️👮‍♀️
They showed us their tools, shared how they help keep our community safe, and answered lots of curious questions 💬✨
The highlight? Getting up close to the police car—and even sitting inside! 🚨😍
A big thank you to our local police for inspiring our tamariki with such a fun, hands-on learning experience 💙

Sensory play is more than just fun, it’s a powerful way for children to explore, learn, and grow! 🌿
Through hands-on activities like scooping, pouring and squishing, children engage their senses while developing important skills such as problem-solving, creativity, language, and fine motor coordination. When children are free to touch, experiment, and discover at their own pace, they build confidence and curiosity about the world around them. Sensory play creates joyful learning moments where fun and learning go hand in hand. 🙌
