Our next Evening Carer Support Group is coming up on next Wednesday the 19th of August from 5.30pm to 7pm at 3 Elliot St Palmerston North.

This happens every third Wednesday of the month.

This month we will have guest speakers from Support Links informing of their service and support.

There is online support groups for people for whānau, supporters, partners, and adult children of people living with Younger Onset Dementia.

YODAT’s free online support groups are available nationwide for whānau, supporters, partners, and adult children of people living with Younger Onset Dementia.

Thank you very much for your kind donation and the twddle muffs,. The knitted hand-warmers covered in textured objects like ribbons, beads, and buttons keep restless hands occupied by providing visual and sensory stimulation and comfort and anxiety relief for individuals with dementia.

Alzheimers Manawatu has been chosen as one of the community groups that can be voted for in ’s Good in the Hood at Z Sanson.

Alzheimers Manawatu helps people affected by dementia by running social clubs for people with dementia and Carer Support Groups for their families in Palmerston North, Feilding, Levin and Dannevirke.

We are a charity that relies on community support, so please vote for us at Z Energy in Sanson, as that gains us more funding.

Voting runs from 18 August to 14 September 2026.
