Highlight of our tamariki's year so far ✨

For the past two months our children have been learning about fire safety - which was topped off today with a visit from the Palmerston North Fire Brigade. Thank you so much for coming to see us!

We had lots of fun being in the Christmas Parade today! Thank you to all the tamariki and their whanau who came out and joined us!

Chalk paint was a huge hit this week!

Last week Otto 🐾 came for a visit at both our Roslyn and Cloverlea Centres. Our teachers talked to the tamariki about safe ways to approach a dog they meet, by asking if they can pat the dog, lettng the dog sniff their hand and then gently stroking their chest.

Lots of the children told Rachel how much they loved Otto, she suggested they could ask their parents for a puppy for their birthday - you're welcome whanau! 😀

Kia ora Whānau! We know the rising cost of childcare is a struggle for lots of whānau. Due to funding some providers who used to offer 30h free for 3-5 year olds are no longer able to.

As a community, not for profit, Alphabet Academy continues to offer this service to our community while providing quality childcare. If you know anyone who could benefit from this we would love you to share with them ✨

Our children are loving some of the the activities the teachers have been preparing lately. Finding dinosaurs in jelly (water, food colouring + gelatin), was a huge hit last week! 😀

Yesterday some of our children went on a trip to see Suzie Cato at the Awapuni Library. Our children (and especially our teachers!) had such a great time 😀

Rugged up and ready to play outside, despite the cold outside our children still love to enjoy their outdoor area 🙂

Here at Alphabet Academy we use the Xplor Home App, this allows our whānau to get real time information about their child's sleeping, nappy changing and eating/ feeding throughout the day, as well as our kaiako sharing real time moments about what the tamariki are doing.
