WELCOME to Namiki High School for the 12th time!!!

On Monday we welcomed 22 students from Namiki High School in Japan, along with their Deputy Principal and two teachers.
During their stay until Tuesday, 5 August, our visitors will be learning English, taking part in a variety of activities, and joining lessons alongside their Awatapu buddies.

Interschool General Knowledge Quiz

On Wednesday evening, five of our outstanding students โ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ ๐, ๐๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐๐๐๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐๐๐ฅ, ๐๐ฎ๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ซ, ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ง, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ญ๐ก๐๐ง ๐๐ซ๐๐ข๐ โ represented Awatapu College proudly at the annual Jimmy Carter Quiz, hosted by PNBHS.
The general knowledge competition brought together teams from across the region, and our students demonstrated an impressive breadth of knowledge and enthusiasm throughout the evening.
After ten rounds of challenging and wide-ranging questions, the quiz concluded with Horowhenua College emerging triumphant in a tie-breaker with LAC.
