Congratulations to our white and yellow belts who graded at our last training for the term.

You all did fantastically and should be very proud of yourselves.

Have a wonderful holiday and see you all back next term.

While the Little Tigers are taking a break for the school holidays, we will have training on Mondays and Thursdays from 6pm to 7.30pm for the Monday night students.

Please note: the Thursday night training will not be formal, and it is an opportunity for you to work on areas that need a little more polishing before your grading, and the black belts/instructors will be working on their own patterns.

Commemorating the 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations

To celebrate and further strengthen the people-to-people connections that have anchored a six-decade friendship between the Philippines and New Zealand. The Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines continues to find new opportunities to build and strengthen the relationship between our two countries. Sport offers a way to build new connections and friendships.

Through the leadership of Grandmaster Sung Chon Hong, Taekwondo has grown to become the number one martial art in the Philippines. As the CEO of the Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA), Grandmaster Hong has established a network of committees to promote and develop taekwondo. The PTA, supported by the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines and the Philippine Sports Commission, is pleased to share its knowledge with Taekwondo New Zealand.

The PTA is sending two of its Philippine National Taekwondo Team Coaches to share their knowledge with us in Poomsae and Kyorugi.

Poomae: Rodolfo L Reyes Jr
Kyorugi: Carlos Jose J. Padilla V

We wish to invite our Taekwondo New Zealand members to attend the training seminar and help us further strengthen our friendship with the Philippines.

~~~~~
We can't wait to see you in Wellington and can't stress enough what an opportunity and privilege it will be to take part in this seminar, led by two incredible individuals.
Our deepest thanks to the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines, the Philippine Sport Commission and the Philippine Taekwondo Association (PTA).
