24 January - the International Day of Education
On 3 December 2018, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution (resolution 73/25) proclaiming 24 January as International Day of Education, in celebration of the role of education for peace and development.
I hope all learners globally can engage in their education activities with fewer constraints from COVID-19 and ongoing threats presented by continually evolving new variants. Technology, broadcasting, and meaningful connectivity could complement learners’ face-to-face learning.
