☀️ Exciting news for QEC! ☀️

We’re stoked to announce that Queen Elizabeth College has been selected as one of 500 schools across Aotearoa New Zealand to receive support through the Ministry of Education’s Solar Panels at Schools Programme.

As part of the programme, 30 solar panels will be installed at QEC, helping us take another positive step towards a more sustainable and resilient future. 🌱⚡

Solar panels can help schools:

⚡ become more energy independent and resilient
🌏 reduce carbon emissions by using clean, renewable energy

This morning, we were invited to take a small group of students to a breakfast experience like no other — a breakfast event with the Prime Minister and Ankit Bansal.

Our students braved the chilly morning, but they were soon rewarded with a delicious warm breakfast and, more importantly, an experience they’ll probably remember for a long time.

Life and learning are about experiences — sometimes stepping outside the classroom, meeting people, being part of occasions, and making memories along the way.

Our students stood out, and rightly so.. they are incredible.
