We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 9am-12noon and are a 10min walk from the Pakuranga Plaza on Glenside Avenue. Our centre started out as the pack away playgroup over 50 years ago in a small building next door, now used by the Girl Guides. 50 years on and we are a thriving community of families learning through play, following the Playcentre philosophy and Te Whariki (NZ ECE curricu
lum). This is where we learn alongside our children, as well as other families and all share a role in the operation of our centre. We are a wonderful mix of families who are dedicated to being an active part their children's early childhood education. Playcentre also offers free adult education to support parents as the best first teachers of their children.
