Thank you to all the tamariki and kaiako who supported our Dress Like Someone Special Day at Riverglade Childcare today.

Some tamariki dressed like their dads or grandparents, while others came as their beloved pet dog, a favourite character such as Skye, or a cuddly toy. Some simply came dressed as themselves because they know they are special too!

Today was about appreciating who we are and celebrating all the special people, and pets, who bring love and happiness into our lives. It was lovely hearing the tamariki share who they had chosen and why that person or character was special to them. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿฅฐ

What an incredible Crazy Hair Day we have had at Riverglade! ๐Ÿคช๐ŸŒˆโœจ We have absolutely loved seeing all the creative, colourful and wonderfully crazy hairstyles our tamariki and staff have arrived with today!

A huge ngฤ mihi nui to all our amazing whฤnau and staff for getting your tamariki into the spirit and putting so much thought and creativity into their crazy hairdos. ๐Ÿ’• Your support has helped make today such a fun and memorable day for everyone!

Most importantly, today was all about supporting children and whฤnau affected by cancer. ๐Ÿ’›๐ŸŽ—๏ธ It was beautiful to see our Riverglade community come together, have some fun and support such an important cause.

Thank you, whฤnau, for your generosity, creativity and continued support. We are so proud of our amazing Riverglade tamariki! ๐ŸŒŸ

Part 2
A huge thank you to the tamariki and kaiako from Paeroa Central Kura for coming to Riverglade and sharing their beautiful waiata with us for Te Wiki o te Reo Mฤori. ๐ŸŽผ

It was lovely to see some familiar faces too, with tamariki who once attended Riverglade coming back to visit us as Central School students. Our tamariki loved watching the performance and joining in.

To say thank you, our tamariki made a special card for the Central School children and sang Te Aroha for them.

This is what community and whanaungatanga are all about. We truly appreciated the visit, and our tamariki thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

Thank you, Whaea Jackie, for organising such a special visit and bringing our two learning communities together.
