Eternally grateful for our wonderful families and the beautiful community that is being built around ABDS ❤️
Your children have worked so hard and I was in tears of pride after yesterday’s classes. I can see how much time and energy you have poured into your children and I know that come Sunday it will all be worth it.
Our students are absolutely stunning and have blown me away!

It really is the final countdown! The hard work has all been done and this final week is about having fun, trusting ourselves, and leaning into the newfound confidence all dancers have gained this year.

In one week the hall will be all set and waiting for our students and examiner to arrive.

Exams are all about building confidence. The immense pride that comes from spending a few terms working hard towards a goal and accomplishing it is something that tells us we are capable of anything we set our mind to.

All of our dancers this year are new to jazz and tap. They have shown up consistently and I know they are going to do themselves, their families, and the entire ABDS family proud next Sunday.

I have just sent emails to everyone who had registered interest in our Te Kuiti classes or in starting up in Otorohanga in September. Please check your emails (and spam). If you haven't received anything please let me know :)

Tomorrow I will send information through to those who enquired through Facebook - It's mostly a reminder message about the times and what to bring for your first class.

Not long now until we welcome some new students and start preparing for our first recital!

12 sleeps until our first exams!
I spent before classes today getting all our medals, ribbons, and rosettes ready for the day and putting details on our report cards.
Not long until our students get to put all of this years hard work on display ❤️

Pictured is the back of our tap medals.
There are also Jazz medals, tiny dancers ribbons, and rosettes for our pregrade exam students. I promise the front of the medals look absolutely gorgeous!
