Hi everyone, Nancy here! So yesterday was Jo's last day at Otaki Montessori and today it was mine! Many thanks to everyone that rode the Otaki Montessori train with me over the past 3 years or so 😁 There were ups and downs and laughs and tears and cuddles and many good times! Thanks for all your messages of gratitude and thanks today. I will miss you all very much! I have had a great time teaching all the tamariki over the last 2 and a bit years at Ōtaki Montessori, but my daughter is very much looking forward to me spending more quality time with her.

In the Tui Class we are careful to use our walking feet inside the classroom and on our deck. However, sometimes you just NEED to run, even in the rain!
Any wet weather gear that you can send your child with during these winter months would be greatly appreciated by the teachers and the tamariki. They love the puddles! 😁

Thank you everyone for your patience today as we got to grips with Level 2 :) It was a bit different for us all at pick up and drop off time, eh? But we are delighted to say that all the kids and the teachers had a wonderful day today, settling back in to our classrooms and catching up with our friends 😍 It was so great to see you all again!

Today is playdough day in Jo's House. We found a recipe online, but it wasn't that good so just ended up adding tonnes of flour to make it playable.
Top tip, if you have no cream of tartar, you can use lemon juice! But only add a small amount as it can make it sticky.
