Native plant and pollinator-friendly perennial plants- Plant Sale hours extended to Saturday May 4th 2-5 because of weather. 10-4 Sunday. All under cover both days. 701 Newell St. WW. Unusual and hard to find natives and perennials. Some from locally sourced seed. Good garden subjects. Beautiful flowers.

Persicaria amplexicaulis is a super late summer and fall blooming bee-friendly perennial. There are many cultivars. I think this is Fat Domino. The colors intensify in the cold. Frost is the only thing that stops it.

Some hydrangeas are very bee-friendly. The lacecap varieties have mostly fertile flowers, not sterile ones. The lacecap varieties are so graceful and elegant in the summer garden. Some are wonderfully fragrant.
