Yesterday we had the privilege of welcoming back some of the very first OC students, our Foundation Generation, who attended back when we were known as Orewa District High School, between 1956 and 1966.

To see these awesome people back on campus, sharing their memories and reconnecting with each other, was awesome! And here's the cool bit - many of you following this page were in that room yesterday, and many more of you are their children and grandchildren. Three generations, all part of the same OC whānau, all following the same page. 💚

This August we're throwing open the gates for a massive community celebration, and our alumni are at the heart of it!

Celebrating Alumni success -Phoebe Devine 💚
OC Alum Phoebe Devine was recently profiled in Fashion Quarterly magazine as part of their 'Six trailblazers on their road to success' story.

Phoebe is a Partner and head of design at Previously Unavailable, a New Zealand innovation studio who work with businesses and entrepreneurs on brand strategy, product development, venture building and design.

On Friday, 25 teams took over Helensville Golf Club for our OC Alumni & Friends Golf Day Out - and what an awesome day it was!

Despite the questionable weather, the energy on the day was amazing! It was so good to see OC alumni, parents and local businesses all out there together, laughing, competing and showing up for our school.

Together we raised over $30,000 which is going straight towards the property and construction projects our growing school needs as we celebrate 70 years of OC. 🎉

A massive shoutout to our hole sponsors and prize donors, you made the day what it was. Special mention to parent-owned businesses CDS, Louvretec and Cranefield Automotive for backing us so generously. Plus we've got to give a shout out to our drinks sponsor Puhoi Beer - cheers!!! 🍻

Congratulations to our winning team CDS - Anthony Clough, Josh Collins, Ray Drinnan & Aiden Bolton - all OC Alumni! 🏆 Keeping it in the family! 💚

The $10,000 prize table and auction got people seriously competitive, and the Hole in One Challenge had everyone thinking they were Daniel Hillier!

Huge thanks to Helensville Golf Club for hosting us, and to everyone who came out, bought a team, donated a prize or sponsored a hole. You are what makes OC special. 💚

Celebrating Alumni success - Ben Kelleher 🏉

From the OC 1st XV in 1994 to the top job!! Congratulations to alumnus Ben Kelleher, who has just been named incoming CEO of ANZ New Zealand! Kelleher is currently ANZ NZ's Chief Risk Officer, having previously spent five years as Managing Director for Personal Banking.

⭐️Congratulations Ben from the Orewa College Alumni & Friends!

ANZ NZ CEO Antonia Watson leaving on September 30, will be replaced by the bank's Chief Risk Officer Ben Kelleher
