Opunake Communities Kindergarten

Opunake Communities Kindergarten Open 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday during school terms. Ōpunakē Kindergarten is a non-profit, community-run ECE Centre that caters for preschoolers 0-6 years.

Daily Charges range:
Under 2 years $45/day
Over 2's $39/day
20ECE hrs $6/day (3-5yrs) We are a mixed age early childhood education centre, and we welcome approx. 50 children through our doors every day. Their ages range from 0 to 5 years. If you wish to enrol your child, please call in for an enrolment pack and a look around. Please enrol early. October 2009 we moved into our awesome new purpose-b

uilt centre. One of our initiatives is keeping parents and families up to date with their child’s progress online with StoryPark. StoryPark is a web-based portfolio of a child's growth and development. It allows parents/whanau and early childhood teachers to share a child's journey and gain valuable feedback.

Happy New Year, hope everyone is having some summer fun! Kindy starts back Monday 26th January. For new enrolments (we do have space available) please email [email protected] or pop into Kindy from the 26th Jan for a look around and enrolment information. Huge thank you to Cecelia's on Tasman for donating capsicum, strawberry, zucchini and spinach seedlings for our marakai. Tamariki have been busy planting them today and are looking forward to harvesting fresh kai once they have grown. Thanks again :)
