This week we took a team of 17 to the Zone Cross Country in Manaia. There were an awesome bunch who supported and encouraged each other throughout the event.
Congratulations to all, and well done to those who qualified for the Taranaki Champs in week 10. They are as follows: Aliya (5th), Maddox (4th), Kingston (1st), Brodie (4th), and Sidney (1st).

This week we sent two teams to the ePro8 Competition in Stratford.
The students had to solve practical engineering and math problems using a large workstation of equipment. Both teams chose to build a Mario-Cart using aluminium framing, wheels, and electronics. They had to work together with creative problem-solving and design.
Well done on your effort and determination.

A huge ngā mihi nui to the awesome team at Citizen Leather!

Thanks to their generous donation of leather, our Year 5/6 STEAM Club students are diving hands-on into designing and crafting their own bracelets. We love seeing our local community support practical, creative learning!

Inspired to try your hand at leather crafting too? Check out the Leather Making Night Citizen Leather has coming up this October. It’s going to be a fantastic hands-on event!

🙌🩷🙌 We’re excited to be bringing hands-on leathercraft workshops to our community this October!

Join us at Citizen Leather and create your own hand-tooled and painted leather trivet dish or coin purse. You’ll learn basic leather tooling, painting and riveting techniques before taking home a finished piece you’ve made yourself.

👥 Limited to 6 participants per workshop

No experience is necessary, and all materials and tools are provided.

We are beginnning to set our strategic direction for the next two years. We would love your feedback to make sure our school fits the needs of our people.

The students were given a paper copy of this to bring home last week, thanks to those who filled it in and sent it back. We would love some more feedback to make sure we are getting a good representation from our people.
