A BIG SUNDAY AT MARSDEN YACHT & BOAT CLUB!
We’ve got an exciting Sunday ahead at our little club!
Centreboard Social Racing gets underway from 12pm, with plenty of action on the water.
Then from 3pm, our usual Sunday Social continues - come along, relax, catch up with friends and enjoy the club atmosphere.
Spectators are very welcome to come down and watch the racing, and members and guests are invited to join us for the Sunday Social afterwards. Members to be signed in as usual.

Round up your smartest mates, your most confident guessers - or just your favourite people - and get a table together!

* Tasty Tucker food truck from 5pm
* Quiz kicks off at 6.30pm
* 8 rounds + prizes up for grabs

SUNDAY SOCIAL AT MYBC

We’re open this Sunday as usual, 3–7pm -come down, grab a drink, enjoy the view and catch up with friends.

We’ll be showing the Ranfurly Shield match between Northland and Tasman from 5pm!

Not into rugby? No problem! Our outdoor area is the perfect spot to sit back and enjoy the harbour views. With the pull-down walls and outdoor heaters, you can stay warm and cosy while still enjoying that beautiful waterfront setting.

So whether you’re here for the rugby, the view, a drink, or simply a relaxed Sunday catch-up - come and join us!

Looking for an easy, relaxed way to spend your Saturday afternoon? Come and join us for our 1st Jam session, you wont be disappointed.

Come down to the Club for an afternoon of acoustic music, good company and great views.

This weekend’s Centreboard Social Racing has been postponed — but we have a new date!

Sunday 6th September

So, keen sailors, mark your calendars and get ready to get out on the water!

And remember, the Club is still OPEN this Sunday, 3–7pm!

Come along for a relaxed Sunday afternoon -catch up with friends, meet some new ones, enjoy a delicious burger and chips, and soak up the good vibe at the Club.

From a local sailing club to the world stage!

At just 17, Kiwi sailor Chloe Turner has claimed her second major international medal in under a month - bronze at the ILCA 6 Youth World Championships in Aarhus, Denmark! She finished third overall in a massive fleet of 122 sailors from 35 nations, backing up her bronze at the European Championships in Greece just weeks earlier.

Two totally different sailing conditions, two podiums - that's some serious consistency from the Auckland teenager, who was also crowned ILCA 6 under-17 world champion last summer.

"To be consistent at both events shows that I'm making gains, which is really encouraging... it's great to see that the hard work back in New Zealand is starting to pay off." - Chloe Turner

Spring is creeping closer, the light is changing, and those Sunday afternoons are starting to feel just that little bit longer.

Join us at the Club this Sunday, 3-7pm, for a relaxed social afternoon. Our Club is open to members and guests - come along, catch up with friends, meet some new ones, and enjoy the positive vibe that’s growing here at the Club.

And remember, you don’t need to own a boat to become a member. If you enjoy the atmosphere, like what we’re about and would love to be part of it, we’d love to have you join us.

* Good company and a relaxed Sunday afternoon

CENTREBOARD SOCIAL RACING - SUNDAY 30 AUGUST

Our Centreboard Social Racing day is coming up!

This is open to intermediate and experienced sailors - juniors and seniors. If you have your Yachting New Zealand Level 1, you’re good to go! 🙌

* 11:00am Rig boats
* 12:00pm - Launch for social racing
* Sailing instruction available on the day

The boats will be launching right in front of the Club, making this a great event for spectators too. Come down and enjoy the racing from the shore - it’s a great way to spend a Sunday and support our sailors!

And when the sailors come off the water, there’ll be hot sausages and chips available to refuel!

Please note: The bar will open at its normal time of 3:00pm. Members and guests welcome.

No need to register ahead - just turn up, get your boat rigged and join in.
