Lily The ŌPS School Cat Hi. My name is Lily. I have been studying hard at Ōmokoroa Point School, since Term 2 2024. Come say hi when you come to school.

I enjoy - eating, drinking, napping, snacks, chasing birds, napping, making kids happy, tickles and napping.

I have been told that I will no longer be attending Ōmokoroa Point School. Depending on who you ask, I have either graduated or been expelled due to poor attendance. In human years I am around 28 so I think that's way too old for school.
My humans noticed that I was getting stressed with the car ride to school and then my day at school. I started to not come home for breakfast so in order for me to go to school, I would have to be locked inside all night and my human knew that I didn't like that.
Instead I get to spend my days sleeping in the sun or long grass, climbing trees, bird watching, chasing mice and keeping an eye on the big white fluffy things in the paddock (those things are scary). I will tell my human to keep posting photos of me so you can see what I am up to. (Mostly sleeping really.)

They found me. Thanks to Penny and Maia I will be sleeping in a nice warm house tonight.

Has anyone seen me today? I was a bit naughty at school yesterday and wouldn’t let my human take me home. My tracking collar came off while someone tried to nab me so no one can find me that way. I am pretty good at looking after myself but there are humans that worry about me.
