We can slowly see the sunshine 🌞 Woo-hoo!!
With a few clear patches through the day, we managed to get some "painting done" with chalk paint (crushed up bits of chalk and water). This wee art piece was done by my littlies (15 - 18months old) with the help of my son. Doesn't it look fab?!

Painting can help support and extend tamariki creative expression, colour recognition and also motor skills 🎨

Sorry all!
It has been a wee while since I have posted up here but behind the scenes, we have also been running a playgroup once a week.
Feel free to come and check it out on 20th July - 10am - 2pm
All is welcome. Children must be accompanied by their parent/caregivers.
Please bring snacks for your wee ones and hot drinks are provided for whanau.

This past few weeks the children have been attending a new playgroup which we are running and it's going great!! Lots of new areas to set up, meeting new friends, planning some fun activities and of course, MORE COOL TOYS ✨

These new experiences are great to expand the tamariki social and emotional skills when interacting with others.

Daycare and centres a bit too overwhelming?
Or are you looking for a smaller ratio type ECE environment?

You are in LUCK! As a home-based educator with over 10 years experience with young ones, raising my own and often babysitting for friends and family, I have a space coming up in early March.
Currently have Level 3 and Level 4 in Early Childhood Education and finishing up Diploma (Level 5) in ECE towards Bachelor in Teaching to begin mid year.

I am contracted through Kids At Home and offer a home-based education service. What I provide:
* Updated learning plans, developments and stories through Storypark
* 20 ECE hours for over 3 years old
* Childcare subsidy (if applicable)
* Regular outtings to Mainly Music, Tumble Time, Playgroups, Nature Walks and much more!!
* Less illnesses as we have low ratio of 1:4

I have spent the past 15 months getting to know this beautiful whanau and their sweet wee girls who finished up care yesterday and moving to big Daycare 💕 It has been an absolute pleasure and so wonderful to get a sweet message like this 🥺🥰 We will miss you all so much!!
