What a wonderfully weird winter night! We want to thank our island community for supporting this fundraising event, which will help us build a new outdoor shelter in the next few years. Everyone looked weirdly and wonderfully incredible!

In an exciting project last year, our Year 4 cohort worked alongside Whaea Karllie to write an article for the Ministry of Education’s Junior Journal. Distributed in print to primary schools across New Zealand, the publication provided an opportunity for our students to proudly share their perspective on life on Aotea Great Barrier Island.

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came to see and support our school play, Peter Pan, this week. Our tamariki performed this play five times over two days, including three times to an audience of approximately 250 people in total. They loved every performance, and we are super proud of them!

Ngā mihi nui to Orama for hosting us over the two days and to Mulberry Grove School and Kaitoke School for bringing all your tamariki up to see the play.
