Ohau Playcentre

It's always sad when Whānau move off to school, especially when they have been at Ōhau Playcentre since birth!

Our whānau made sure to celebrate this milestone with delicious pizza 🍕 making!

The good news is that we will have a few more spaces available as more whānau move off to school. So feel free to come and check us out!
Open 9.00am-1.00pm Tuesday and Wednesday

Today we had a great time exploring with this slime made from psyllium husk powder, water and colouring!
Such a fun texture like "swamp slime" and also totally taste safe!

If you're looking for something to do with your tamariki on Tuesday or Wednesday come on down to see our little Playcentre for yourself. We're open 9am until 1pm both days!

Our tamariki and whānau have been working hard on this collaboration poster show casing the mātāriki stars.
The tamariki really enjoy being able to point out which piece they colour!

Ōhau Playcentre has water again

We'll be on session tomorrow from 9am!

Unfortunately our wonderful little Playcentre has been the target of vandalism and theft over the long weekend.
There has been damage to our plumbing and electrical sockets as someone accessed under our building.
If anyone in the community had a similar experience with copper being the target on Friday night / early Saturday morning please get in touch.

Our helpful tamariki had a great time this morning collecting autumn 🍂 leaves to put them on our gardens!
This makes our play space safer (they can be slippery) and also helps discourage the weeds growing.

We'll be open again tomorrow and we're sure there will be more leaves 🍃 😅
