Ambition without self abandonment Embodiment > Performance 💌 You return home to yourself. Journey home with me x

I have embarked on a journey (a mission if you like) to honour the season I am in and to help other women do the same. To embody a frequency of self love through self care and empower other women to do the same - to connect to their innate wisdom - themselves. When you look at HER in the mirror, you love the woman you see looking back at you. You trust and honour HER and you embody vitality and confidence.

Midweek musings 💌

I wasn’t expecting this season to feel so disorienting.

For years, I’ve had a destination in mind. A goal I wanted to achieve. More autonomy. More freedom.

Then when I finally reached it, instead of feeling settled, I’ve found myself wondering, “What’s next?”

It’s made me realise something. When you’ve spent your whole life surviving, navigating responsibility, adversity, disappointment, and constantly proving yourself, your nervous system becomes incredibly good at striving.

So good, in fact, that when life finally becomes quieter, you don’t automatically know how to enjoy it and you start searching for another mountain to climb.

Not because you’re ungrateful, but because striving has become so familiar. It’s become your default setting.

I’m beginning to wonder whether this chapter isn’t about becoming more. Maybe it’s finally about learning how to receive.

To receive the life I’ve worked so hard to build.

To stop constantly justifying my existence through productivity or achievement and to pause long enough to admire the view instead of immediately searching for the next peak.

If you’re in a season where you’ve achieved what you once dreamed of, yet somehow feel a little lost… there’s nothing wrong with you.

Maybe you’re simply learning how to live a life that is no longer being written by survival.

And maybe the lesson is to realise the hardest part wasn’t getting there, it is learning how to simply be there 🫶🏼

Yesterday felt symbolic. A full circle moment, that had me reflecting on each chapter of my journey.

The young law graduate.

The suddenly single young mum to a newborn, a toddler and a three year old.

The woman rebuilding.

The woman wondering if some opportunities had passed her by.

If I could tell her one thing, it would be this:

You are not behind.

Life will not unfold in the way you expect, and there will be seasons where family, healing, and simply surviving take priority over career progression.

But none of those seasons are wasted.

They shape you.

This week I step into a new chapter as a Director, and while I’m incredibly proud of that achievement, what I’m most grateful for is the life that came with it.

The lessons. The resilience. The perspective. The wisdom.

To any woman who feels like she’s running out of time, you’re not. You are perfectly placed on your path.

Keep going.

Your timeline is your own 🫶🏼

Anyone sense a common theme 👀

As always and feature heavily in a wardrobe that literally consists of active/casual wear and corporate - there’s no in between.

Currently have a pair of chunky suede loafers on my wishlist for Autumn 🍂 preferably, you guessed it - leopard 🐆

Hit me up if you find some.
