BASKETBALL 🏀
Tonight our Boys league 1 basketball team, the Northcote Vanguards played in the semi-final against the power house Northcross Intermediate. It was a tough game and the score remained close throughout. The boys played hard and kept their composure, taking away the win, 24-23.

Congratulations boys all the best for the finals next week against Albany! (7.10pm come and support!)

Good luck to the rest of the NIS teams for your last games. Thank you for continuing to represent our school with pride and playing hard every Monday.

SUMMER HOCKEY 🏑

First week of summer hockey! With a short season this year, it was great to get back on the turf.

BOYS BASKETBALL ZONE DAY

The boys had their zone day today, and it was a day full amazing basketball and great competition. They went through their pool unbeaten, followed by some tough quarter and semi final games on their path to the Grand Final 🏆
They played their hearts out but came up short against a strong Northcross team, finishing the whole tournament in second place 🥈🏀

**TOUCH RUGBY TERM 4**
Touch rugby sign ups are now open. This is open to all students, whether they are competitive or social.
There is a meeting tomorrow in Room 5 at break 2 for anyone who is interested in playing.
Trials will be Thursday lunch time for any players wanting to compete for an 'A' grade spot. If we need more trials a second date will be announced (this will be explained to the students at tomorrows meeting)

Our netball 8/1 team have made a terrific start to the season.

After a creditable top 6 placing in the Annual Zone day, they carried their form into the club competition with an impressive 39-19 win over Albany in their final grading game.

They are growing all the time under the coaching of Ms. Leith and look set for a good run in the championship.

Keep up the great work, girls!

HOCKEY ZONE DAY

This week we had the boys and girls hockey zone day. There was some tough competition! The boys team placed 11th and the girls team placed 9th.

Awesome work!

BOYS HOCKEY

Tonight was the first game if the season. 1st XI Boys won 7 - 0 against Waimauku and 6 a-side Boys bet Birkdale Intermediate Blue Team 2-0.

3x3 BASKETBALL

Congrats Cayce, JP, Heath and Luke who came in first place for Year 7/8 division at Swish Factory for Term 2.
Also on Sunday they came in first place at the Winter year 7/8 3x3 Tournament.
