Warren Buffett is one of the richest men in the World, so it's safe to say that few, if any, financial professionals can match his track record.

As a young man starting out in Omaha, Nebraska, Buffett understood the importance of public speaking.
He realized that he needed to be comfortable speaking in front of groups if he hoped to win new clients.
Yet he has said that the act of public speaking has terrified him.

Buffett conquered his fears by enrolling in a public speaking course and forcing himself to teach night courses at the local community college.

Buffett says " I consider public speaking the most important skill for anyone who hopes to enjoy a successful career in not only finance but in any business!

a HUGE congratulations and Well done to our member Haiming Jiang for placing 3rd at what was a very tough Division K Humorous speech contest over the weekend.

Haiming had worked very hard in preparation for this contest and was up against some very stiff competition.

Keep up the amazing work Haiming..we're all very proud of you!
