Active Discoverers Educare Active Discoverers opened in February 2014 we are licensed for 45 children (35 overs and 10 under's) we are based right under the hakarimata ranges! woohoo!

Active Discoverers Educare is set under the hakarimata ranges with a family feel to the wonderful nature environment. The team are local to the community and love sharing our wonderful centre with local whanau, children and the community. We love getting to know new families and involving them in our centre and the wonderful centre events we have too. 80% of the staff at Active D

iscoverers Educare are qualified or in training, which allows our centre to sit at 80% qualified every day! Come and see the centre for yourself and bring along your tamariki ma (children) to test the environment out for themselves too.

At Active Discoverers Educare, we provide a warm home away from home environment where tamariki thrive through nature walks, play-based learning, and following their own interests.
We enjoy regular excursions to Hakarimata, exploring and discovering in the natural world.

Matariki is a time of celebration and spending time with family. Tonight we had such a wonderful coming together of our whanau. We enjoyed some fun activities, waita and followed by a shared kai. It was lovely to see the coming together of our Active Discoverers Educare family once again. Our hearts are full.
