Spotswood College China Technology Tour 2027

Are you passionate about technology, innovation, engineering, robotics, AI, drones, design, or the future of technology?

Join the Spotswood College China Technology Tour 2027 for an unforgettable 16-day experience exploring some of the world’s leading technology hubs. Travel through Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Beijing as you visit cutting-edge companies, science and technology museums, robotics facilities, drone innovation centres, and AI industry leaders.

Highlights include visits to robotics and artificial intelligence companies, drone technology demonstrations, smart logistics and automation centres, science and technology museums, and experiencing China’s rapid transformation into a global technology powerhouse. Alongside these unique learning opportunities, students will also experience the rich culture and history of China through visits to the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Yu Garden, traditional tea ceremonies, and ancient water towns.

This tour is designed for students who are curious about the future, interested in technology-related careers, and eager to see how innovation is shaping the world around us.

Puanga Celebrations

What a wonderful way to come together and celebrate Puanga as a school community.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed donations towards our Puanga celebrations. Your generosity helped create a special occasion filled with connection, reflection, and shared kai.

Puanga is a time to remember those who have passed, celebrate the present, and look forward to the future. It was fantastic to see our students, staff, and whānau embracing this kaupapa and coming together in the spirit of manaakitanga and whanaungatanga.

Ngā mihi nui to everyone who donated, supported, and helped make the day a success. Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated. 🌟

It was an honour to host the Regional Manu Kōrero Speech Competition alongside Te Pihipihinga Kākano Mai i Rangiatea today.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a success – from organisers and judges to staff, students, whānau, and volunteers. Your support and commitment ensured a wonderful day of learning, culture, and excellence.

TICKETS ARE ON SALE!!!! SAPA finally has tickets available on Trybooking.com ( Link in Bio ). Our performances are from the 19th to the 22nd and the 26th and the 29th of August at 7 pm!!!! ( Aside from our matinées on Saturday at 1 pm!! ) with prices at $17 for students and $27 for adults. Doors will open 30 minutes prior, at the Spotswood College Hall. Make sure to buy your tickets sooner rather than later, you will regret not buying them sooner!!!
