Marty from Suchy&Co Realty dropped in on Friday, 17th April, to give us a Warehouse voucher for $100.00 as the prize for the Easter sustainable/recycling entry of our Feijoa tree in their competition. Great mahi from our tamariki and kaiako.

This week at Piccolo Preschool, we have been exploring ANZAC Day through stories, shared discussions, and hands-on experiences.

We read about a dawn parade, created a wreath, looked at some of Trina’s grandad’s medals, listened to The Last Post, Reveille, and our National Anthem, made ANZAC biscuits together, and some tamariki created poppies to wear proudly.

Through these experiences, tamariki have been learning about remembrance, respect, and community.

We would like to wish all our whānau and tamariki a safe and lovely long weekend as we remember and give thanks to those who served our country.
