Trish and Neil first encountered alpacas in Picton when, purely by chance, we visited a farm there. Firstly, we needed to find out more about these animals.
These enchanting animals immediately appealed as a possibility on our lifestyle block on the outskirts of New Plymouth. We became members of the Alpaca Association New Zealand. We visited some alpaca stud farms and attended the AANZ Conference in Rotorua, learning everything we could before taking the plunge. After 360 days gestation another lovely cria arrived today. A lovely brown girl from alpacasRstyle Liberty by Silverstream Godsend , and sired by Futura Humdinger Some great genetics there

Unpacking season is underway and we have some lovely cria on the ground. This is the very last season there will be Futura Humdinger and Malakai Sorcerer progeny born in New Zealand. These two boys have had a huge impact on our herd but have now gone to Europe to do their work over there

We are so pleased alpacasRstyle Richochet won Champion Junior Female and Champion md/dk fawn at the Hawkes Bay Show 2020 on a beautiful sunny day. She is sired by Futura Humdinger and continues his legacy of championship winning offspring
